Film + Photography + Digital Strategy

I directed and edited Sami, a 7-minute documentary following the daily life of a humanitarian aid worker in Gaza. I developed the visual framework, guided the Director of Photography, and shaped the film’s pace and feel throughout editing. From the beginning, Sami was a collaborator, not just a subject, and his voice shaped the project from conception to completion. The film was displayed at Anera’s gala and helped raise $2 million.

I co-directed Tahani: A Mother’s Dream alongside Tahani Shehada, a journalist and storyteller sharing her own experience of becoming a mother in Gaza in the wake of October 7. My role was to honor that story — I oversaw the film’s tone, pace, and animation style while guiding a team of animators to bring her narrative to the screen with the care it deserved. The film generated more than 10,000 engagements on social media.
